Cooking tartines with apricots:

Step 1: Prepare the bread.

I prefer to use a loaf or baguette for making tartines, but you can choose any other bread. Bread should be cut into small slices about 5x5 cm in size. Now grease the finished slices of bread with butter.

Step 2: Prepare the apricots.

If you use fresh apricots, then you will need to prepare them a little in advance, about half an hour before starting to cook tartinki. Fresh apricots regimen in half, peeled, poured into a bowl and covered with sugar. As soon as the apricots start juice, you can start cooking tartinok, pre-draining the juice. If you use canned apricots, then you just need to buy apricots cut in half in advance and drain the juice from them.

Step 3: Cook the apricots tartines.

So, we already greased the bread with butter, now we spread the apricot halves on the bread with a cut up. Then put a small piece of butter in the apricot indentation and sprinkle with sugar on top. We take a baking sheet, shoot it with parchment paper and put ready-made slices on it. Put in a baking sheet in a preheated oven. We will bake for 10-15 minutes.

Step 4: Serve the apricots tartines.

As soon as the bread is browned and the apricots start to juice, the tartinki are ready. We take them out and serve them for breakfast. If you have a desire, then you can sprinkle the finished tartinki with powdered sugar on top, or decorate with mint leaves. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - You can cut bread in slices as well as circles, squares or triangles. It all depends on your imagination.

- - The filling for tartin can be any, both sweet and salty: slices of sausage, ham, boiled or stewed meat, cheese, fruit and all kinds of pastas.

- - If you do not have parchment paper on hand, you can grease a baking sheet with butter and sprinkle lightly with flour.
