Cooking corn in the oven:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.


Baked corn is not only satisfying, but also very tasty, the main thing is to know a few secrets of its preparation, first of all, heat the oven up to 200 degrees Celsius. Then we remove leaves with hairs from the ears of corn and wash it with lime and a small bunch of cilantro under cold running water. Shake greens over the sink, and dry the corn and citrus with paper kitchen towels, getting rid of excess moisture.
Then we cut the lime into 4 parts, remove the zest from 1 of the halves with a fine grater and put it in a small bowl. We put the greens on a cutting board, finely chop them and send them after the zest. We put 120 grams of salted butter there and grind with a tablespoon to a homogeneous consistency. We also print out a package with chopped bacon and put salt and black pepper on the kitchen table.

Step 2: prepare the corn for baking.


Now we take 1 ear of corn and rub the juice of one wedge of lime into it so that it soaks all the grains on the ear.

Then we separate 1/4 part from the oil mass, rub it into acidified corn, sprinkle the grains to taste with salt and black pepper. After we wrap the ear with 2 slices of bacon, do it so that we get a spiral, and wrap it in a double layer of aluminum foil. In the same way, we prepare the remaining corn for baking and lay the ears on a baking sheet.

Step 3: bake the corn in the oven.


We check the temperature of the oven, and if it has warmed up, we install a baking sheet with corn in it on an average rack. Bake corn for 45 - 50 minutes, during this time it will reach full readiness, during this process you can open the oven a couple of times and turn the ears on the other side so that they do not burn from below, because the heat from the oven will be quite strong.
After 45 - 50 minutes open the oven and with the help of kitchen tongs we shift the corn to a large flat dish, carefully remove the foil from each ears and you can start the meal until this yummy has cooled down.

Step 4: Serve the corn in the oven.


Corn is baked in the oven almost as much as it is cooked, but it turns out tastier than boiled, because all the juice remains inside the vegetable while the corn grains are soaked in butter and animal fat from lard, which gives the finished dish an incredibly pleasant aftertaste. If desired, an additional portion of melted butter and a salt shaker can be served with corn. Such corn can be tasted as a separate dish or used as a side dish for any meat dish. Enjoy it!
