Cooking homemade twix:

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients.

We will need only yolks from chicken eggs, so we need to remove them. But before that, wash the eggs with soap and water to get rid of the harmful bacteria that have accumulated on the shell. Then gently break the egg with a knife and pour the protein into one cup, and the yolk into another. Flour for making homemade twix needs to be used fresh and sifted, so we take a sieve in our hands and carefully sift a glass of flour through it.

Step 2: Cook the sweet minced shortcrust pastry.

So we have a handful of sifted flour in a deep bowl. Add a little salt and sugar to it. And on a clean cutting board we spread a piece of frozen butter and ruthlessly start chopping it into small pieces with a sharp knife. Then add flour and seasonings to the pieces of butter and continue working with the knife. We should get a big crumb from the dough. Add two egg yolks to it and mix the dough properly. Add 2 tablespoons of sour cream, and mix again! We check the dough - it should be thick, crumbly, heterogeneous and mold well.

Step 3: Cool and bake the finished shortbread dough.

We cover the baking dish with parchment paper, and evenly spread it on top of it and distribute the dough, ram it tightly, and put the mold in the refrigerator. The dough (or rather the butter in it) should freeze in half an hour. After that we set the oven to heat up up to 180 degrees, and submit the test form to it. Bake the dough until light golden brown for 15-20 minutes. We take out our sand biscuit from the mold and give it time to cool, but for now we will prepare caramel.

Step 4: Cooking caramel for homemade twix.

Using a can opener or opener, open a can of condensed milk and pour it into a pan with thick walls. Add a piece of butter, and send the pan to the stove. We also need a culinary spatula, which you will constantly stir boiling caramel 20-30 minutes. When the condensed milk becomes thicker and acquires a light caramel color, you can remove the pan from the heat. Quickly and accurately apply caramel to the surface of the sand cake, because it cools quickly and begins to thicken. Distribute the caramel evenly and proceed to the preparation of the glaze.

Step 5: Prepare the icing for the homemade twix.

You can rinse the pan in which we just cooked caramel, because you need to melt the chocolate either in a thick-walled bowl or in a water bath. Break the chocolate bar into pieces and put them in a dry and clean pan. Again we take the culinary spatula and stir gradually melting chocolate for 1-3 minutes. Compared with the time spent on cooking caramel, try to hold out these 3 minutes, not being distracted so that the chocolate does not burn, and the finished dish was not spoiled because of this. When the chocolate has completely melted, pour the cake on it, then level the surface of the glaze, and remove the twix tile in the refrigerator for solidification for 3-5 hours.

Step 6: Serve the finished home twix.

When the twix is frozen, you can get it out of the refrigerator, cut into small sticks and serve it with tea, coffee or any other drink. The sea of pleasure is guaranteed to you! You have done a great job, and now you can pause! Enjoy your meal!
