Cooking Cherry Pie:

Step 1: Prepare the Cherry.

If the cherry is frozen, then it is necessary that it thaws, after it melts, rinse it in a colander of jets of cold water. Bones must be removed from each cherry machine to remove seeds. Next, place the cherries in a deep bowl and cover with sugar (approximately 100 - 120 grams) so that the berries let the juice sit for 30 - 40 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare the baby.

Butter must be cut into very small pieces, put it in a deep bowl, pour flour and vanilla. Next, you need to intensively rub these ingredients with a tablespoon to such a state that a homogeneous yellowish mass is obtained.

Step 3: Cook the dough.

Butter can be melted a little either in the microwave or in a saucepan on the stove. After washing with running water, break the egg into a large bowl, add flour, baking powder on the tip of the knife, as well as sugar and melted butter. All this should be well mixed with a spoon, or in a blender. Put the resulting dough into the dishes and refrigerate in the refrigerator for about 20 to 30 minutes.

Step 4: The first step in baking the pie.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. When the dough is ready for further manipulations, we take it out of the refrigerator. The dough should be divided into 2 parts: 2/3 of the dough should be placed on a baking sheet with baking paper, evenly form a cake and bake in the oven for 10 -15 minutes. Do not forget to pierce the dough with a fork in several places so that the cake does not swell.

Step 5: Form a side from the dough on the baking sheet.

While baking the cake, put the cherries in their own juice in a saucepan and heat over high heat - the juice should boil. While cooking the cherry, you need to get the cake from the oven, from the remaining dough (1/3), blind the side on the baking sheet, the height of which should be about 2 cm.

Step 6: Cook the cherry filling.

4 tablespoons of cherry juice should be mixed with starch, continuing to cook the remaining mass - it must be brought to a boil and removed from heat. Cherry with juice should be combined with starch, then stir the resulting mass intensively and bring to a boil again. Then the excess liquid can be drained so that the cherry is in a small amount of juice. The filling needs to be slightly cooled.

Step 7: Bake the cake.

Cherry filling should be evenly spread on the cake with the side, sprinkle it with crumbs prepared in advance. Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven also up to 200 degrees. Bake cherry pie for 35 to 40 minutes.

Step 8: Serve the cherry pie.

The finished cake needs to be slightly cooled, then transferred to a flat serving dish, cut into portions, put into saucers or portion plates. It is usually washed down with fruit juices, jelly or hot tea. This wonderful light and airy cake can be served for breakfast, dessert or dinner. Good appetite!
